How we work

Kids don’t always have the words, so we meet them where they are

Everyone likes and deserves to have fun, and we bring that to all our pediatric therapies. Games, sand tray, art therapy and other activities let us work with children in a fun and engaging way.

Children are not always able to tell us what is on their minds in so many words. Our therapists get creative in understanding your child and give them opportunities to share their emotional experience with the vocabulary they use best.

Sessions center on the child’s experiences and goals, with the therapist as their advocate. Parents join periodic sessions to discuss progress and provide context, and confidentiality is kept to build trust, with key themes shared when needed.
