I believe that growth begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can be themselves, explore life’s challenges without fear of judgment, and discover strengths they may not even realize they have. I see therapy as a collaborative process built on trust, honesty, and the belief that meaningful change happens one step at a time.

I graduated from Taylor University with a bachelor’s degree and earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My education and clinical training have provided me with a strong foundation in evidence based practices while reinforcing that genuine connection is one of the most powerful tools for healing and personal growth.

I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, young adults, men, and individuals seeking Christian counseling or faith based support. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity development, or questions about your future, I strive to create an environment where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward. I especially enjoy helping adolescents and young adults build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges with resilience.

My approach is personalized because no two people have the same story. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy to help clients develop practical coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we identify realistic goals and build strategies that fit your values, experiences, and daily life. For clients who desire it, I also enjoy incorporating spirituality and Christian faith into the counseling process in a way that is thoughtful, respectful, and meaningful.

I have experience providing counseling for adolescents, young adults, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, stress, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals working through substance use and recovery. My approach is compassionate and nonjudgmental because I believe people are far more than the challenges they face, and lasting change begins when clients feel accepted and understood.

Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship. I want clients to know they do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My role is to walk alongside you, offering encouragement, practical tools, honest conversations, and a place where you can safely explore both the difficult moments and the victories. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, authentic, and centered on your goals.

My hope is that clients leave our work together feeling more confident, empowered, and equipped with practical tools they can use long after therapy ends. Whether we are working through anxiety, healing from difficult experiences, improving relationships, or building healthier habits, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and recognize your own resilience and capacity for growth.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy exploring new coffee shops, strength training, staying active, and following Chicago sports. I appreciate opportunities to connect with others through shared interests and believe maintaining balance outside of work is an important part of overall mental wellness.

I am committed to ongoing professional growth and staying current with evidence based practices so I can continue providing compassionate, individualized counseling that helps clients feel supported, encouraged, and empowered throughout their journey.
