I believe that every child can benefit from therapy. Talking with your child can often be challenging, especially if they don’t want to talk at all. Added life events may place additional strain on a child’s ability to effectively express how they feel in a meaningful way.
There a many children who are not good at “talking it out” and that’s where I come in. I use a variety of evidence-based practices, such as sand tray therapy and play therapy techniques to assist children on how to find their voice and be an advocate for themselves. I take time to learn about the unique qualities that make up a child as well as their family’s goals to tailor my therapeutic approach.
