Occupational Therapy

I believe every child has unique strengths, and my goal is to help each one build the confidence and skills they need to participate more fully in the activities that matter most to them. I strive to create a fun, supportive, and collaborative environment where children feel encouraged to explore, grow, and celebrate each success along the way.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science and Master of Occupational Therapy from Saint Louis University. Since beginning my career in pediatric outpatient occupational therapy, I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages and a wide variety of developmental needs. I enjoy having a diverse caseload and love helping both younger and older children reach meaningful goals that increase their independence at home, at school, and in the community.

I have received specialized training in DIR Floortime 101, the Get Permission Feeding Approach, and Harkla Reflex Integration. These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to each child’s unique developmental profile while supporting meaningful progress through play, movement, and relationship-based interventions.

My clinical interests include sensory regulation, emotional regulation, fine and visual motor development, feeding, reflex integration, activities of daily living, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delays. Whether a child is working toward greater independence with self-care tasks, improving feeding skills, developing stronger motor abilities, or learning to better regulate their emotions, I enjoy helping families identify practical strategies that support success both inside and outside of therapy.

I believe the best outcomes happen when therapists and families work together. I take a play-based, child-centered approach to treatment while partnering closely with parents and caregivers to develop individualized goals and provide tools that can be incorporated into everyday routines. I value open communication and believe that empowering families is just as important as supporting the child.

Families can expect me to bring a playful, empathetic, and collaborative approach to every session. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing children gain greater independence and confidence while developing skills that will continue to benefit them throughout their lives. Watching those small accomplishments grow into meaningful, lifelong achievements is what inspires me every day.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy walking my dogs, hiking, painting, reading, and baking. I appreciate opportunities to be creative and active, and I enjoy bringing that same sense of curiosity and playfulness into my work with children.

My hope is that every child leaves therapy with greater confidence, increased independence, and a better understanding of their own unique strengths and needs. I want families to feel supported throughout the therapy journey and empowered with tools that help their child continue to grow long after each session ends.
