Blog
Welcome. Learn more about our clinic.
As the first entry to our Therapediatrics blog, we thought we would share a little about our clinic.
When Therapediatrics was created the mission was to provide excellent evidence-based occupational therapy to children with challenges at home and at school. As the clinic began to grow, our mission changed as well. The clinic added Physical, Speech and Behavior therapies to grow into a one-stop-shop for families. Our goal became to have families spend more time with their loved ones while providing them with services to reach their potential in one convenient location. To have parents relax knowing that their children are getting the best service to support and empower their ability to grow.
We all grow in different ways. Growth, whether you are a child or an adult often comes out of having to face challenges. At Therapediatrics, we seek to support and empower our clients to face these challenges and reach their potential. We do this by helping individuals and families to fill in the missing pieces and supply the resources needed to move forward and grow. Talented and experienced staff help our clients understand that their goals are achievable. Therapediarics has always provided occupational, physical, and speech therapy in addition to behavioral counseling to address any needs our clients may have.
Therapediatrics has decided to take our mission one step further to provide families with a place that not only provides traditional services but other services and resources to support the needs of the families not only at our clinic but the community as well. As we look to the future we plan to increase our ability to help clients grow by finding new ways to support and enrich our clients’ lives by adding groups, activities, and learning opportunities. A piece in developing the new vision for the clinic was to add a blog. Often we have found families at a loss as to how to handle certain issues that may come up in their families. Whether it’s sensory issues, developmental concerns, working with schools or family issues such as divorce, our experienced therapists and guest bloggers will address the issues facing families today.
In the coming months, we will be addressing issues related to:
- Sensory Processing
- Feeding issues
- Developmental Milestones
- Anxiety
- Fine and Gross motor skills
- Children’s struggles at school
- Divorce
- And many other issues that we see come up in the clinic
Thank you for joining us on our new adventure!
